Chat Rules
While in our chat rooms we ask that you abide by the rules that we have set below. These rules are set to make the chatting experience enjoyable for everyone so no chatters have to deal with abuse. Our Rooms are moderated by our staff and if the rules are broken you may be removed from the room you are chatting in, or even the server!
Being Polite
Being polite is one of the easiest things to do online, just like your normal day life, treat everyone with respect, remember the other names in the room are real people to! Think before you speak and if you feel the comment you are just about to say might offend someone, don't say it. Anyone found to be bullying another chatter will be removed.
Personal Information
While chatting in our chat rooms we ask you to not give out personal information, this is for your own safety more than anything else. This includes phone numbers, addresses or any other information that could easily identify you. Giving out e-mail addresses is permitted but completely up to you, you don't have to give any information about you that you don't want to.
Being Excessive
Being excessive includes flooding the rooms with your text or with sounds. This is not necessary and ruins the chatting experience for all. People found to be excessive with either of the above will be silenced within the main room.
Sticking to your age group
We ask that you stay in the rooms dedicated for your age, if you are found to be in a room that is not dedicated for you age you will be permanently removed from that room. If you are an adult in a younger room you WILL be banned from our chat site and your IP and chatting logs will be given to the proper authorities.
Links
We understand that while in our rooms you will want to see what other chatters look like and want to show them what you look like, this is why you allow you to post certain links, to pages such as myspace, bebo and other big social networking sites. However you may not post links to any other sites that you own trying to gain traffic or scam people out of money, if you do this, you will be removed.
Posing as somebody else
If you pretend to be someone else on this server the likely hood is that you will get banned. Attempting to persuade another chatter that you are an administrator to try and gain personal information out of them is forbidden. Also never give out multiple age's or genders, be truthful, if you do give out different genders and ages you will be banned.
Clean Chatting
This is a clean chat site, we do not tolerate role-play or cyber-sex chat in the main rooms or in private chats. We also do not allow you to ask for Cam2Cam(C2C) chats. If you wish to ask for these things please visit the #Help room where we will suggest an alternative chat for you.
If I break the rules, what happens next?
Obviously depending on the severity of the offence depends how you are dealt with. If you are flooding the room with actions or text you will be warned before silenced in the main room, repeat offenders will be banned from that room for a certain period of time. If a more serious offence is committed the higher the payment will be. If you are causing trouble in multiple rooms and upsetting a lot of chatters, you will be banned from the site.
As well as moderators on our site we also have chat administrators who have more powers to their hands. If you constantly break rules or try and gain traffic to your own personal sites, they will "k-line" you from the chat site, which means that you will be banned from chatting on our chat network.
